Settling In
Children and parents are welcome to attend a 'play date' where the child and parent can stay and play for a short time. We also offer each child a free morning session just prior to their start date. Parents are able to stay with their child for a short time; but are encouraged to leave once the child is comfortable. Parents are advised that they can telephone for an update of how their child is during the course of the morning. Alternative plans can be discussed to settle a child who is particularly reluctant to leave their parent/carer or to meet the individual needs of a child.
